Anyway, over trying 1000 poses in the past 4 hours, this is the one that worked. I haven't seen one like this either when I was getting references. It's not the best pose, but everything else was hard for me

As I said in the journal entry, I've been practicing posing and drawing still life pieces...looking at muscle structure and so forth.

Looking at a bunch of my old pieces, they're all mostly headshots...BOOM HEAD SHOT! I'm better with faces, but I'd like to try and one up those pieces, and this is why this Venom 2.0 was born.

EDIT!!!

I looked at my piece and I was not satisfied with it. I looked at my fellow Deviant's comments and critiques and knew what to do! Man...I am so proud of myself. I can honestly say that this has to be one of my best digital paintings with photoshop...EVER! I completely redid a few parts of Venom, keeping the general pose and twisting him around. Thanks to a nifty too called the Lasso and 'transform', I was able to play around and foreshorten limbs and so forth till desired...However, I still had to do a lot of redrawing. I've been at this one for a while, since around 10 this morning, finishing roughly at 4:15 typing this. I am in awe of my own talent! I don't like to say that, but I'm not so great with coloring and drawing with my tablet (is it cause I have the Bamboo? Do I need a higher grade Intous or Cintiq?) IDK, but looking at this I know I succeeded! I am uploading my old Venom and please compare and contrast this new one to the old one! THANKS FOR YOUR CRITIQUES AND SUGGESTIONS DAN and FAHAD! You can leave some more if you like, although I don't wanna touch this one again haha...
