Beedrill! Pokemon One a Day!

Yay, another pay day for me! I really enjoyed working on Kakuna so I was pumped to work on this one. I started a draft for this some time ago, and boy, when I came to work on it today I was disgusted haha. It was a very minamalistic approach that probably could have worked if I really tried hard to do so, but I figured I could do something better and scrapped that one entirely.

The attempt before this final work actually looked like a piece of grafitti. It was very out there and an interesting concept, but I obviously dropped it to take a semi realistic approach.

So Beedrill's design has always been pretty ridiculous to me. I mean not only does the thing have a stinger, but two giant singers for freakin' hands. What the hell?! O.D son, O.D.

AND THATS WHY I ADDED 2 MORE STINGER ARMS
Insects have 6 legs, so rather than giving him actual hands to pick up things with, I gave him some more tools for destruction. I decided that running with the ridiculous aspect would be fun and create a design that would be my own.
